    Default Music help please!

Could anyone advise a good program for music available for download on which I can edit down tracks, loop and play about with them for use during perforance?

I hope this makes sense? As a complete technophobe I need all the help I can get in this area!

Apparantly Audacity is good, though Mr C deals with that so I wouldn't know myself lol

I use Audacity now... I've used Goldwave in the past too.

Is Q-Base different to Cubase? Cubase is a hefty piece of professional software and can be daunting for a new-comer (not to mention very expensive!).

Angel LaVey uses Wavepad - nice and easy to use - she's also willing to edit the music for you if need be. Angel would just need very specific instructions on what you wanted.

I use Audacity for all of Lilly's songs, and it really is a breeze to use. (And it's free for both Mac and PC)

I use it if I ever need anything editing. If you can use the internet or a word processor then you should be able to mess about with Audacity until you find everything you're looking for. It's very simply laid out. And the free-ness is just a bonus ...
