Britain's got Talent....
39 complained about the burlesque act.Oh, I'm torn, to an adult audience it's obviously silly to complain but as there are lots of kids who watch... oh, I just don't know. Thoughts????

Was it ok for them to watch someone galivanting about in a giant alchoholic beverage, though?

I can kind of understand it- if there were children watching and the parents didn't like it.
But at the same time, they did completely obscure anything that may be slightly offensive (including her knickered bum!). It's no worse than things you see in adverts/ music videos etc anyway.Snowflakes and Sparkles

I think the woman was wearing see-thru pants(hence the censoring). But I agree with December, Im sure children see sexualised images of things in adverts. As the old saying goes(Sad but true), sex sells.

I noticed her pants were sheer but still don't understand why that needs censoring! It was only her bum!

I think it would be great to be able to choose what kind of adverts we can watch. i was thinking about it the other day, you know how when you sign up to some website and they ask if you want newsletters on ie..health & beauty...fashion...outdoors activities...personal relationships...food..
what if you had packages that could exclude things that your not interested in so say you can pik ads you dont mind being viewed by children as i know the new kiss advert is rather raunchy for anyone too young, how its to do with music i dont know maybe the point of the ad goes straight past me =S
the kiss ad is a bit of bad example i cant really think of anything sexualised atm!
i think fabias strip was not that offensive but then again i dont have children etc, but i can understand for a family show it was quite sexual i suppose.?.
But because i do art and draw alot of naked people i can see the human body as more of an art form rather than that of sexual exposure
but i guess its down to the way its portrayed..

As a larger lady myself, the cynic in me wonders if people wouldn't have objected if she wasn't a larger lady. Slim woman stripping on primetime? Oh that's fine. Larger lady??? OH MY GOD MY EYES ARE BURNING!

i think it should be acceptable for anyone of any age or size to be honest, i think its the typical media hawks that seem to attack anything other than the fake idolised lifestyle they like to sell..
