Ok Poll Time Apart from Burlesque What other dancing do you lovleys prefer?

Me.. Im OBSESSED with Ballet. It is the key to my heart

I danced Ballroom for... 4 years and Latin American for 9. Then my partner ditched me and I never did find a new one. That was 4 years ago. I miss it so much Everytime I watch Strictly Come Dancing I mourn. :cry:

So I'm now teaching it to my 8 year old brother lol. On the sly, because my step dad is one of those macho guys who would DESPISE the thought of his son dancing

I did Ballroom and Latin for a few years, not long enough to get any good, but long enough to get some bronze medals ^_^ I have to say it's got to be Latin for me, all the passion and drama and storytelling - you just can't beat a good salsa or Argentine tango or paso doble!

Jive is my personal favourite. It's so bouncy and chirpy :excited:

ive never tried either of those, But I love ballet so much.. In fact.. my friends parents came back from morrisons today with angelina ballerina Dvd's for me.. Because they thought it was cute ops: :LOVE:

I dont understand ppl like that.. When my Brother who is now 13 wanted to start gymnastics my father was like 'no, you'll end up a poof!! etc etc' Never mind the boy had talent.... :-? i just dont understand some people really.....

That's exactly what my step dad is like though. When my little brother said he wanted to be a hairdresser all hell broke loose.

But now he's a goalkeeper and wants to be a wrestler when he grows up so I guess my stepdad had nothing to worry about

I'm pretty useless at all forms of dance but I love ballet and I do try. I was addicted to Strictly once again this year but I've never done any partner dances beyond those at ceilidhs.
