Thread: what attracts you to burlesque?

Hello everybody its showtime here, im new and would like to get to know people more on here,so would like to know what attracts you to burlesque. I enjoy it because, its inspired my creativity in the art world, so has opened a window of inspiring opportunity, I also find the women that are involved truly alluring with there beauty. So stop by and say hello i dont bite.

The people!! They are lovely, welcoming, open, and less pretentious than most other artistes. love love love them.

Also I get to be a drama queen and that's OK!

I have to say I love the people I have met. I'm really new to Burlesque as well and have spoken to some truly lovely people. My Grandma gave me my first pair of stockings when I was 16 and showed me Glamour (I didn't know then she was a huge fan and only discovered it just before she died - when she told me she worked for Van Damme at The Windmill!!)

I want to start doing some workshops now!!

The fact that allows anyone to be who they really want to be and it's such a laugh
