Thread: Is someone doing my act?

Hi all
I am trying to find out if someone is doing one of my acts. I have an act called 'Magic Makeover' that I have been performing for over a year now. The story is I am a very old lady find some magic dust that turns me young. This is not a new idea but mine has a twist I get rid of my old lady costume and just when you think its all okay I revel I still have a set of old lady boobs underneath.
I have been told that some one is doing this act same music as I use and using the old lady boob joke.
This act was shown at Chaz Royals Battle Royal the event for new performers. I saw the last third of this night but did not see the act in question. Can anyone help me out by telling me who this performer was or the person who told me all this has got the wrong end of the stick.
I just want to get to the bottom of this.

as I said being old to young is not new but its the thought they are using the same music and gag.

Hello! There is a performer called Miss Glory Pearl who did an old to young act at the LBF Battle Royale, however I don't think there was an old lady boob joke in the act and also the act involved pole dancing and no magic dust, so it sounds like maybe there is a misunderstanding somewhere unless there was another old lady to young act in the show I didn't see? Hope this helps! xxxx

there was another performer on the night and I have seen images of the act and it really is very similar. She also uses the same music as me. I have sent her a mail today so hopefully we can sort it out.

The performer has responded to me and she assures me she had no idea about my act. She has asked me to send her a link to mine and she says she is going to change hers. I am just waiting to hear back from her. Will keep you updated. I feel much happier her mail was lovely so I am sure we can sort this out. It will not do either of us any good having two acts so similar out there.

It's always good to mail people! If I'm ever unsure I'll always email performers with similar ideas/props/music. We have old lady routines too but we made sure it's not like yours. We'rejust batty old grannies! xxx
