Finger in the Pie Cabaret 2008!

London’s biggest cabaret showcase returns in 2008. Offering new acts the chance to debut on the London stage; more established acts the chance to test new material; and everyone the chance to brush off those performing cobwebs and walk the boards of one of London’s most famous cabaret venues.

Last year we were proud to give a whole host of new performers their first break on the London stage – frequently being named Time Out Critics Choice and launching acts including the much vaunted Bourgeois and Maurice!

This year promises to be even bigger and better with a newly refurbished Madame JoJo’s including a much improved sound system, more seating and even more acts!

We are currently programming February through to July 2008. If you are interested please fill in an application form and get in touch! (Details at the end of this message)

What we can offer you:

- The chance to debut your performance on one of London's most famous cabaret stages.
- A supportive, professional and friendly environment to showcase your work.
- Free complimentary tickets for scouts, booking agents or other industry professionals you want to invite.
- We will also have a photographer present to provide you with photographs of your act.

What we can’t offer you:

- Madame JoJo’s has a low ceiling so aerial work or work which requires much vertical space isn’t feasible.
- We can not accommodate bands or musical acts who need a drum kit set up.
- Due to technical constraints we can not show films or other recorded media.
- Finger in the Pie Cabaret is a Showcase for new acts, we can not pay any fee to performers, this includes expenses.

Just like last year the Cabaret will be on the first Sunday of each month at Madame JoJo's - Feb 3, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 8, July 6.
