Default What to keep my fans in?

    Good afternoon,

With reading lots of threads on fans, it reminded me that I am yet to find something to keep and carry my huge feather fans in. Just wanted to find out what other people use to transport their fans in, because i cannot seem to find anything large and solid enough too! Any suggestions?

    Thank you !

    Hi there,

Poster tubes seem to be one of the best solutions - they are sturdy and easy(ish) to transport....I need to get some myslef for this very purpose.....

This might be a really overly expensive option, but if youve really invested in a pair of large good quality fans, try a harp case! You can get hard and soft ones, but I imagine the mid sizes would be just the right size and shape to protect the feathers if youre going on a train or in someone elses car who may not have the same hygiene standards as you! Plus, if you store them in one you wont get sun bleach to the feathers.

Maybe one of those large art portfolios?

I bought a art tube for carrying mine. They are great as the lid screws on and they are water proof. They also have a hand to carry them easier.

    I use a heavy-duty poster shipping tube.
Thing is awesome, and waterproof. (it's very humid here and the feathers get clumpy)
