Winer Blues
My Burlesque course I was starting tomorrow has been postponed till next month
I was sooo looking forward to it! I wanted to start the year with it. That and I have awful period pain and it's TOO BLOODY COLD outside. Hate it, want to hibernate. Need some kisses, cuddles and all round good loving to make me smile but my boyfriend's gone to bed, he's up mega early .. Thank the stars for my beloved pussycat xWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Just thought of more gripes. Well, while I'm at it..
I'm hungry. Got a big fashion shoot coming up so can't eat very much... Did I mention how absolutely freezing it is outside? I feel a hot night at Volupte coming on to warm/ cheer me up..

It's in London and the course runs every month either on a Sat or a Tues, I think next month's course is Saturdays so you could come perhaps!
I think I felt down because I'm trying to change direction in my career a bit - I model quite successfully which is all good but I also work in a poledancing club to pay the bills and I would really like to get out of that environment as it has a really negative effect on me in lots of ways. I love being on stage but other aspects of the job (the men, the uncertainty of the money and the bosses ((again men!)) who take such a huge proportion of the money that I've worked my arse off for). I've been off work for a few weeks over Xmas but have to go back this week; and the course I was gonna start today was a welcome distraction and the first part of my master-plan for my career this year, so the delay is frustrating!
Still, at least I have some spare cash to play with now.. Been lusting after corsets online today, might have to have a retail fix.. x

Retail therapy! Great idea and good luck in the change of career. Don't let the delay in your course get you down, you can use the extra time to come up with some burly routines and costumes and all those other things and it just means you'll be really really really ready for it when it finally does happen!

Shopping is at least cheaper than real therapy!! Im in Yorkshire so i guess the only place for me to do a class is in Leeds.
