Cards and Website
I'm currently about to launch my website and a new set of cards.
The business cards has left me wondering about how much info to put on them. The ones I'm using at the moment have just my E-mail, myspace and Facebook. How many people put on their phone number on the cards and have you ever had any issues with doing so?
Also any quotes I could use on my website would be greatly appreciated.

I personally wouldn't want my phone number on them. I'm sure a website and email would be enough.
As for quotes... I'm not as good with words as you are but I'll have a think!
How about "Eris may look like an angel but don't be fooled... This mischeivous (sic) starlet is not as innocent as she seems..." (Ok, that's the best I've got for now!)

If you have a dedicated business number it might be useful putting it on there in case a Host needs to contact you, but i would be a bit wary of putting personal numbers on there. And you can always write your personal number on the card if you want the person to have it.

I put my number on my business cards, but I'm in a very different line of work... if I were you I'd probably get a business number, or not bother at all.
Your name, your website (if you have one!), email and your myspace/facebook should be enough I would have thought

I have not put my number but the cards are white at the back so if I wanted t I can write it on. I was going to get it printed then a friend mentioned it might not be safe.

I've issued a telephone number on my business cards for 3 years now.
As I tend only to hand out business cards after engaging in conversation with someone I have a fair idea as to whether I might consider the person "safe" or not prior to issuing the card.
For general promotion I use postcards, featuring only my website address.
For me personally, I think a business card ought to hold a little bit more information than google can provide. If a performer I'm already aware of hands me a business card with only web-addresses on it, I feel like me receiving the card was a little unecessary (as the chances are that I've already visited these webpages).
As I see it, business cards are like mini address-book pages for people to refer to when they want to contact you. I think things like flyers and postcards are better suited to general promotion.

Dear Eyetie - thankyou for having the courage to raise this topic. Even if the email is not genuine...
