    Talking g-string murders

    my wife got me a copy of the the g-string murders by gypse rose lee for my birthday ( droped enough hints ) i am not much of a book worm but i can not put it down ! i am only 6 chapters in and loving it . i was woundering if it was ever made into a film ? the other thought that keeps coming into my mind is what a great MOB production it would make . que the cast list

    Hey I haven't read the book but will eventually I'm sure but as far as I know 'Lady of Burlesque' is based on the book. It's no a bad wee film. Anyways hope that helps

    Glad to hear it's a good read. Might have to read it myself now
    My favorite christmas gift was a book from my boyfriend called Pretty Things. It's about the burlesque queens of the 1920's-50's, but it especially focuses on their costumes and what crafty women they were. Boy i wish i could sew and design like every woman could back then!
    We're still crafty chicks though, and we should be proud we're keeping it alive

    thank you for the help with the film information just ordered a copy from eBay , the temptation will be to watch the film before i finish the book ( should be able to .......hopefully) are there any other burlesque based books that could be recomended , i already have dita von tease's book

    I have that book also I love looking at the pictures when Im doing my hair and makeup for inspration, I love Zoritas hair on the pics where ses wearing the fox furs gonna get mine dyed like that soon I think.
