After initial glitches with an unscrupulous print house ‘Strange & Beautiful’ UK Burlesque photo books have gone to press again, this time with a proper printer!


I have produced two books, one of studio portraits and one of performance shots. Kittie Klaw, head of the Ministry of Burlesque has also done me the honour of writing an incredibly informative foreword for both books entitled ‘What is Burlesque?’

I saw both of these books at the weekend - they are worth buying.

The look, feel, general overall sexiness of these two books is worth the money alone without the content!

Aw thanks deb, I'm super pleased with them finally, alot of hard work and money went into producing them.

I'd be greatful if others that have purchased the book from blurb could post a short comment here and on my blurb page so others will be encouraged to buy also.

Worked out that I need to sell 46 copies before I even break even, darn all those proof copies I had to get printed, but worth all the hassle and outlay to finally get these copies perfect.

Got my copy of the studio photos book the other week and it's GORGEOUS. The photos in the box (including mine, yes I'm a little bit biased) are so brill, fab colours, great lighting and I love ready people's quotes too.

My daughters laugh at me because I've been keeping the book under my pillow to look at if I feel down, and it hasn't failed to raise my spirits yet.

With Christmas coming up, either book should find a place on your wish lists to Santa.

I'm contemplating taking my copy along to future shows so I can the performers in it to autograph, that way I'll make a packet on it on ebay when they're ALL huge international stars (as Daiquiri, Beatrix and quite a few others already are) JOKE Cherryfox! JOKE! I wouldn't part with my book for a million dollars.....it will remind me of home when I'm living in the american desert!

Feel free to buy another copy to get signed and flog on ebay, i just want a cut of the profits!

I might just do that - there's nice white space on the quote pages, I could get people to autograph it, wait a few years and then make millions!!!! And I might buy you a glass of pink if you're lucky :twisted:
