Problems with posting on threads

Is anyone else finding that when they post a blank screen comes up, and despite the post appearing as entered on the homepage it doesn't show up on the actual thread?

I'm just concerned because I don't want the dreaded spambot after me again for double or triple postings because I think the posting didn't take....

Please protect me from the spambot....

Mine seems to be ok. Have you updated your computer recently or changed the settings? That happened to me on FB the other week when i updated, it wasn't displaying properly and i had to alter my internet settings.

No change that, yes it is happening to me to, but it was fine this afternoon.

Nope haven't changed anything on my computer in ages.

Now you see weirdly your post isn't appearing as an update in the 'new posts' list - it says on this thread only I've said anything - but when I clicked on the thread your post is here. I've tried three times to post on the Cold War Burlesque thread and each time I get a white screen, and although you can see the beginnings of my posts on the main homepage, you can't see them on the thread, all very weird.

I wonder if it's to do with the changes to facebook linking to MoB?

and now it's telling me I cant post this because I can't bump my own thread, but I'm not bumping it, I'm replying to you Rose, I wonder if it can't see your post is here?

On mine it's saying 0 replies but when I open the thread there are several. It only seems to be on threads started today though.

I am having the exact same problem!!! I'm using Firefox 3.5 on Ubuntu.

No something's happening on existing threads too - I've posted 3 times on the Cold War Burlesque thread since Tiptop said 'something fishy going on' and they appeared in the homepage latest posts list but not on the actual thread when you open it - plus it says the last post on that thread was Tiptop, but if you open it Heather Sweet is actually the last person to post on it

All very strange (waits to see the white screen again to discover this posts or not............yep there it is)

I am having the exaxt same problem. I post and then the screen goes white....and then.....nothing? Am starting to feel jinxed or mightly unpopular, lol

Had it happen to me earlier will try again now.

Yep Still got same problem, have to use back button after white screen and then check for updated threads.

Do not get same thing happening when I edited this message
