Burrr!!!! Cold weather clothing
As I said...
Burrr!!!!
It's suddenly gone very cold. And is it just me or is there very little in the way of attractive warm clothing about?! (Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places!).
Very pleased with my £2.50 leopard print furry ear muffs though! First time I've had warm ears after the walk to work in a while!WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

It's not just you - I've been having very much the same problem, you'd think that designers and stores would be able to figure out that when winter's in the offing people will want nice warm clothes, but apparently it is beyond them!

Maybe you could try second hand and vintage clothes shops - they tend to have nice winter stuff in my experience . . .

I hate the cold
My dogs drive me up the wall coz they dont want to walk in the rain - who can blame them?? I cant find any nice warm clothes either!! When you do pile on the clothes you end up over heating walking in and out the shops!! Your lips get all icky and chapped, and your skin gets anll dry n horrid! You dont want to get out of ben in the mornin coz over the duvet is so cold!!! boo...

Am I the oddball that loves London in the winter? I like the old victorian looking bits in the rain it feels all crisp and spooky, Liberties is full of sparkling Christmas stuff, the southbank smells of those cooked nuts. mmmm
I wont leave the house without my oversizes fake fur coat a bit dellboy a bit 1920s, a friend had it in their attic. H & M have some faux fur things I wouldnt mind to keep warm in. I'd say go to vintage/charity shops find big vintage coats like flappers used to wrap up in and that way can still wear pretty things underneath.

I'm having major issues finding winter stuff I can wear for work. What does one wear to keep warm and yet stylish in an office?? Bloody nightmare it is!

i love winter clothes, i feel so cosy with my nice sweaters and coat
plus i get to wear my bobble hat yay, i don't care if the neds give me weird looks i know i look cute so
i also saw these on what katie did, stylish and practical! i think i'll invest in some when i get paid next:
fully fashioned stockings, lingerie, girdles, corsets and bullet bras.
i think the trick to looking nice and stylish in winter is to layer. i generally wear a light knitted top, with a light cardi over it, that with a pretty scarf and my coat is more than enough to keep me warm.
