Makeup to cover tattoos??
Hi all, I'm playing Cinderella this year in a panto up Norf, but the costumes made for me don'y cover my arms, on which I have two quite large and bright tattoos, can anyone recommend a foundation, concealer or suchlike to cover them up with?

Try Covermark - google it, I got mine from a site called the Garden Pharmacy. It covered my scars well when they were bright red. Plus you can get a trial palette with different shades so you can match it exactly to your skin tone by mixing if you need to (which I certainly did)

Dermacolour is brilliant for covering up tatoos. Its used a lot by trannys and also used on stage.
You can get it from Charles Fox in london or else on his website.
Hope this helps.

There's a specific way to do it, you need to neutralise the colours before you cover them with concealer/foundation. Just banging concealer over them doesn't really work and gives you that oh so charming 'inch of makeup on' look. Try this:

Time consuming but it does work if you have the patience and it works better than dermablend etc.

Thanks girlies, unfortunately I haven't been able to get anything in time, so I'm having to use flesh coloured plasters at the mo, not the best, but none of the chemists in Carlisle seem to have a clue what I was on about and kept trying to sell me Bio Oil!
