Small Feather Fans
Hi all, I was just wondering if anybody knew of anyone who makes custom feather fans in the Northwest? I'm after a small pair to give as a gift. Somewhere between the size of a general hand fan and small performance fans, if that makes any sense? I'm open to having them made by someone further afield but would prefer it to be someone local so I can pick them up directly and maybe explain what I'm after in person?
Thanks xWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

In Chester
Hi Honey,
I work some days in Chester and I love making things
Maybe I can help? Drop me aline; helenhatespeas@hotmail.co.uk, I'm sure I could either make or source what you need.
I work for the Council so some of my days are in Chester (like tomorrow).
Cheers
Helen

Hi Helen, have you ever made feather fans before at all? I'm after something very specific as they are to be given as a gift for someone to use as decoration in their living room. If you have any pictures or anything that you could send to me of things you've made? That would be brilliant.

Hiya,
I haven't made fans before, usually I am corsetry, dressmaking, wedding stationery and photography (many hats!)
You can check out my work here:
Cornflake Couture Design Work - a set on Flickr
Wedding Stationery - a set on Flickr
However, I know a few of the burlesque models make their own huge ostrich feather fans, and I always like a new project.
If you would like me to look into it for you let me know,
Kind Regards
Helen
