Kandi Kane help please!
Well I'm at home, trying to make the best of a dose of flu by getting on with a load of rhinestoning and by not paying attention I've managed to leave the gems on the Kandi too long and have gunked up the tip. Anyone else messed up like this an know how to ungunk it the best way? I do have a cleaning brush that came with it but think it might need a bit more then a simple brush.

I tend to heat it up, give it a bit of a brush and wipe it with a lint free cloth, seems to work ok. It doesnt get it pristine but a bit of goo helps me pick up the stones I find

the wire brushes that come with them are a bit useless, go and ask your local hardware man for a soft wire brush, the ones from the hardware shop work much better. As amber says heat it up and then clean it with your wire brush, use a pin to clean the groove on the inside. I find it helps to give the wand a quick clean as it cools down every time you use it, stops the tips getting all black and nasty.
Man that post makes it blatantly obvious I spend far too much time with my rhinestone wand eh hehe"legs are better, you can fake boobs, you cant fake legs" - Sherz the Giant

I have just gotten addicted to rhinestoning and I was wondering how to get rid of the yucky stuff that builds up too, thanks folks!
That said does anyone have any ideas how I could loosen one of the tips? Its a little stuck on there..

I didn't get any brushes with mine, the instructions just said 'clean with grill brush' so I had a blast with the ladies in Lakeland Plastics trying to find the best thing to clean it with!
I ended up with a very nice little set of small brushes for cleaning grills and waffle irons and it works very well indeed. You do need to let the tip get very hot for it to be effective, and don't be afriad to really go for it with the scrubbing!
