primer or pore minimizing recommendations needed :D
i have quite small visible pores at the tops of cheeks near my nose and although they aren't bad at all they are enough to make me feel as though everyone is staring at them! i have tried no7 pore refining serum and estee lauder pore minimizing stuff and while both were quite good, i found that the effects only lasted a few hours. so i was thinking about maybe trying a primer but i've never used one before and there are so many to choose from! i was thinking about mac prep and prime but i've read some online reviews and quite lot of people said it made their skin oily.

Too Faced have "Wrinkle Injection" which works really nicely on my pores and filling in small lines - I once tried a sample of a Loreal primer that I just can't find in the shop that was amazing! I didn't even need foundation when I wore it... if you can find that then you'd be sorted

You can buy the loreal one in Boots. Maybe only larger stores? Its the giant one in Manchester I saw it. I agree, its fab.

I've looked in the Merry Hill one which is kind of a big store - maybe I need to get my bum to Birmingham to get hold of it xx

Yeah it is that one - I was hoping to pick it up in store (anything to avoid paying postage!) but I might just order it
It's well worth it cc

Clinique's pore minimizer cream is brilliant and works really well under make up, too.
They do an everyday and a more intensive version.

I'm completely in love with Urban Decay's primer...gives excellent coverage, and superb staying power. That said I found the pore minimiser to be of really quite good quality too!...Sorry that doesn't really answer your question does it? But it does give you another brand to try!

Clinique have a few pore minimising things, they're pretty good I think, although I've only tried a sample of one.

thanks for your help ladies
i have just ordered Finishing Powders & Primers - Velvet-Gel Silica Primer from fyrinnae because i was ordering eyeshadow samples and i noticed they did primer, it's only about £1.50 for a sample so it's not like i'm wasting alot of money and the reviews were good. it will take about 4 weeks for it to arrive though so i think in the mean time i'll try the l'oreal stuff, or hunt online to see if i can get a free sample lol! oh i totally recommend the eyeshadows on fyrinnae btw, amazing! i'll never use anything else now!
