Wig and wig stylist
Can anyone recommend a good wig supplier/stylist in the Midlands?
I need a wig for a new act, however would like to deal with a local company in order to be able try before I buy.
I have never worn a wig before and when ever I have tried one on, it doesnt quite work so I. need someone willing to rise to the challenge and preferebly very patient
Please help.......

Hi
I have a selection of Annabelle's wigs at the studio....you can try before you buy?
What kind are you looking for?

How heavily styled do you want it? I have been teaching myself wig styling and might be able to help you out depending on what you wanted to do with the wig.
I did this one
Welcome to Facebook | Facebook
(it was originally a Danielle from Annabelle's - long straight with a bit of curl at the bottom and centre parted)
PS. If anyone's interested the little birds and butterflies on the wig are Cherryfox's and she's selling them (shameless plug!)

Deb,
I have tried Annabelle's unfortunatley I couldn't find anything that completley worked
Emerald,
Thanks for the offer of help but I have managed to find what I was looking for (sort off) I went shopping in Brum today and managed to find not one but 2 wigs in selfridges which were very reasonably priced (bonus)
One of them just needs a small amount of modification which I will be able to manage and huzzaah I have what I want!!
Sometimes you find things in the most unlikey of places
I just have the rest of the costume and show to sort out now!!!

Try 'The Wig Room' in Brum - they knot and dress wigs for the theatres there, plus Opera North, Theatre Clwyd Mold, West Yorkshire Playhouse etc. Probably too expensive to buy from, as they only make real human hair wigs, but they do hire, and will cut and re-dress synthetic wigs for you.

Yes it is Kitty! just needs a minor addition which I should be able to mange myself without too much bother, and I also have a pink wig which I shall be using for the Soda pop show, and most likely for bond too !!
Deb, I think I was far to engrosed with my mission to find a wig and didnt have a little wander around Selfridges - I didnt even get the to the AP shop!!!
Viva, thanks for the suggestion I shall bear them in mind should I have any more hairbrained idea's !!!
