Tassels for pasties
This is really doing my head in now!
I make pasties and nipple tassels but I am really really struggling to find suppliers of tassels.
I got a load from ebay before but they're not quite as long as i'd like.
Everything i find is either too fat or too short.
I've been google searching, ebay searching and looking in local haberdashers but no joy
I've looked at previous posts on here and a lot of the suggestions no longer have the right kind of tassels in stock.
I've tried the tassel and ribbon maker tool but it takes so long and i'm even struggling to find the right kind of cord/thread for that.
Does anyone have any suggestions for websites or shops in manchester? (I've tried abakhans and aflecks bead shop)WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Why don't you try a card making supplier - I have some from hobbeycraft which were card making tassels and they are perfect, a little expensive but I am sure if you shop around you will get them a little cheaper.
Happy tassel hunting xx

I've tried Hobbycraft in Bolton but no joy.
I've tried Boyes in the past and found nothing of a suitable size - i'll try there again next time i'm in grimsby x

Hi Hun,
I have seen, occasionally, tassel cord on eBay. Comes in huge reels. Is just a little "hitty-missy" about when it is on there and the colour.

If you've got a fabricland anywhere nearby they always stock a decent range of colours. Other than that I'd have to agree, ebay is your best bet.
Good luck!

If you have particular colours in mind you can always call the Brighton store and ask them to put them aside/order them in for you at no extra cost. Might be worth it just to make sure you get the ones you want.

I've not seen the tassel maker tool, and I'm not sure if you are looking for something very specific, but maybe this would help?

If you want something more fancy take a look at techniques on Chinese tassel making.
