Thread: Best Stockings?

I just wondered where all you girls recommend for buying your stockings? Which ones stand up to general wear and tear best. I have a few pairs from WKD and some from M&S (which are pretty decent). Also, where can I get a pair of those stripy stockings I've seen in magazines like Bizarre?

I tend to buy mine from Debenhams, find that when I spend a bit more they tend to last better, mind you I'm more careful with them when I've paid more!

I love Secrets In Lace and WKD!

I've been having a right nightmare recently trying to find some fair priced nude stockings with a black back seam.
I had some nice ones that weren’t too pricey so I didn’t get upset when I snagged them, but now I've lost the website!

Any suggestions ??

I personally don't like Secrets in Lace...they are kind of too "short" (or are my Eastern European girl legs too long? ;-) hahaha), they just don't fit me.

I prefer What Katie Did, they are fab.

And you want to know a secret? Not everybody knows that, but they are manufactured in the best French traditional handcrafts hosiery company...Cervin!!

I personally love love love What Katie Did! The fully fashioned seamed stockings are divine - though an absolute shame they no longer do nude with the red seam Also great as they do a range of different prices/styles so something for every budget or occasion.

Sorry to pop into this thread, as I have no experience of wearing stockings myself, but my ex (who is a performer) tended to get me to buy hers, and Stockings HQ was by far the best place I found for her. Excellent selection and brands, and very good prices too.
