Thread: help and advice re: fan constuction

was given a ostrich fan (actually 2 ,one left one right)for Xmas

always wanted them, so was so thrilled,

BUT

now feel like child being given box of bicycle part with no tools
and no idea how to make it a bicycle

not the same thing as actually having a fan,
so here I am with folding plastic bits ,
trying not to break the ostrich feathers while waiting to put it together,
one of my friends had a go and it looked wrong,
so now all the feathers are tucked away in a box(sadly)

and unfortunately as the instructions on how to put it together were unclear (fuzzy dark photocopy ,with stages missed
and not a close enough illustation on how to attatch the feathers
with wires exactly,and how that should look front and back)

so


wondering is there anyone in London who has send away for one
and put one together,
or even has anyone sent away for one that was already put together,
who can let me take a close look at yours ,
so have better idea how it should look when properly put together

also took a fan dancing workshop(with no fan , that was weird but at least let me know I still really wanted one)and found out one does want one set up for right hand and one for left so they lay right when using,do I do not put them together wrong also would be lovely to see a set of them
(if you are doing a show in London could meet you before your show )


oh, if any one knows where I can find an instructional film online
to refer back to,though even if I see a film would still like closer look at properly put together one so know what I am aiming to have it look like
up close
(there must be a film clip somewhere , tried utube, with no luck)
and annoyingly the site I bought it from did not have an instructional clip to follow step by step


and as have no already assembled fan to look at ,
to see how to wires fasten the feathers to the folding bits


any help folks could send along would be so wonderful
