Thread: Fan-tastic Feathers! Who inspires you?

Hello people of wonder,

I'm looking for *inspiration (*not to copy the artiste, but something to aim for, no point aiming to be average, is there? ) in the form of wonderful fan dances/routines, & I wondered if any of you would be kind enough to share your favourite acts with me, & tell me why you love the act so much.
As we know, some fan routines are...well okay, but some are just stunning!

The reasons I love this one so very much are:
Cherry's seductive, sensual facial expressions, his beautifully poised FEET! The attitude in the feathers,& also Cherry's grace & confidence...wow.

The way the way Dinah Might bursts out of the clam shell blows me away!

Ok well many of the ladies and gentleman have been spoken for that I would have said. But in my top 10 is the love Tallulah Mockingbird. This is a little bit of an odd video of it but its a great funny act live.

Gwendoline Lamour has to be my favourite. I cant get onto you tube as I'm at work and its blocked but there is a video of her on there. So gracefull, I can watch her fan dance over and over....

I've been lucky enough to see this routine 4 times in person now and it is simply astounding! So beautiful, elegant and also completely unique! It's blown me away every single time!
The last time I saw her perform it was at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas this year and she won a number of awards for it, including most innovative I believe.
