Thread: Posting about Pasties?

New to the scene and want some opinions on pasties since i just can't make up my mind what's working best:
delicate handmade reusable vs. washables vs. stockpiled 1timers.
and glue?
double sided breast tape? pasties setting? or spirit gum..or even eyelash glue i've seen from a lass in a rush.

what's your verdicts/preferences....

I tend to make mine to be reusable, but not washable. I use a leather/faux-leather backing to which double sided tape designed for contouring clothes to your body can be stuck and removed. I doubt I'd go for one time only/disposable pasties just because of the expense and potential inconvenience when you run out!

also. i dont know about anyone else, but my pasties are an essential part of my costume so i have them specially made for me. cheap disposables just wouldnt have the same effect as they cant be customised. x

I get mine done by Adora Belle if I want some awesome crazy amazing! Such as these, my faves!

One of the gals I did a show with bought some pastie from Ann Summers and added some feathers and more rhinestones and stuff and they were cute, I think it's nice just to have a unique pair!

I normally use double sided tape and only had bother when I slept with my pasties on. Foolish drunkard.

The Adora Belle pasties are amazing, does she have a website for them? I googled, but only found her performance site. Thanks!

Right now i'm rehearsing with a bit of everything, for my first show i was using a set of one tme uses stock piled since i was on a bit of a budget, but this past weekend i had one some handmade reusable i bought from a local gal for a decent price. simple black sequins to match my costume (i guess i thought simple would work for my characters simpleness, but i discovered how important and more glamorous my pasties reveal should be! well we know what "thought" did!)...but now i'm reading Jo Weldons book i'm learning to make my own, next i want to make my own more personalized ones to match my acts flair. but on the other hand i do love those Adora Belle ones! hmmm...thank you for sharing!
i just don't think i've found the right glue/paste i "like" yet. any suggestions or other threads i can find about products for those of more sensitive skin type?

the ann summers one is usually quite good for sensitive skin, but its not very strong. alot of people reccommend toupee tape for strength and sensitivity, but in all honesty, if you do more than 2 shows a month even the most sensitive of tapes are gonna chafe a bit, because nipples arent really supposed to have tape stuck on and ripped off! but hey, no pain no game! x
