Default How to keep my eyes from getting lost..

I'm doing a performance at the Boston Burlesque expo this month and I'm shaking up my costume a bit. Previously, I had a very very very frilly red outfit with this sparkly, feathery top hat. I did it in full whiteface mime, which meant that eye makeup wasn't an issue- black greasepaint, no problem.

Now, I'm toning it down, taking away the frills, adding a black tuxedo and panties and so forth. I'm keeping the hat. It is bright red and black and covered in sequins, with a plume of black and red feathers at the back. My necklace is a fall of red gems. My lipstick is red. I need advice on what to do around my eyes. How the hell will my eyes ever compete???!?!

    Hi honey
I used fake eyelashes they really help make you eyes stand out. Also I brush the lower lashes with black eye-shadow helps. Add white powder and or glitter to you eyes makes them shine.
    Good luck

Yep agree with Diva here. Going over the top colourwise would hide your eyes even more. But some good fake lashes and eyeliner will make all the difference. I've got little eyes so struggle with them all the time.

The little eyeliner flicks on the outside corner of your eye can open up an eye too

Also so highlighter or shimmery colour underneath the brow and on the lid is good (Makes the eye appear larger) - as is using an eyebrow pencil and wax on your eyebrow. (Works as a frame for your eyes and balances the faces' structure). Avoid brown eyeshadow (makes the eyes appear smaller) X
