Thread: Photo Idea for MUA Newcastle Area again......

Well,I cant seem to give this away... is it my photographs? (hands clasped to face look of horror!) the idea? It is just an idea.....

Peter sellers once did a film "The Millionairess" where he stood on a street corner trying to give money away, no-body took it.... he couldn't understand why not.
Sophia Loren tells him "people think there's a catch"
Well there's no catch I want to showcase what I can do, nothing more nothing less.
I can so understand new performers trying to get a break into this business "will work for free" just to get a foot on the ladder, we all do it.
I LOVE the work of the late Hollywood photographer George Hurrell probably the best portrait photographer this century, In my own small way I want to try and emulate his style. some of his portraits can be done sitting on a stool it's about lighting not props.To get commissions I need to show what I can do on my website, cant show what I can do because no one wants to be photographed....

My wife, Louise, is a pretty good MUA and hair stylist.............All free on a shoot.............I have the reply. "Oh, Louise is your WIFE!!! Errrrm.......No, I think I will give this one a miss". That was a half day shoot with a £100 payment attatched to it..........Never did get that idea on "film" as it were
