What brand of stockings do you find gives you the best result when performing a peel?

I really don't think the brand matters- it's all about your technique. x

My favourite brand to wear in so far is What Katie Did. They have an amazing selection and you can't beat the fit.

I would tend to disagree - some brands of stocking are more difficult to pull over your ankles while doing peels. I cant think off the top of my head which one in particular but every time it happens I curse the retailer!

I tend to use cheap high street flesh hold ups in most of my routines because I go through so many. My favorite ones to use are the multi pack from boots - the dont look ammmmazing but they come off nicely.

Another thing I would say is try to get dressed as close to your stage time as possible because stockings (and everything else) tends to be harder to remove when your hot and sweaty backstage!

Does it make it easier if the stockings have lycra in them, or if they have shaped feet? ( apart from the obvious fact that the lattee cost 3 times as much!)

I like one with a wee bit of lycra in because they are easier to 'ping' off. The silk seamed ones are a bit too easy to come off sometimes and you can guarantee they will come backstage either ripped or snagged!

Thank you ladies! I also like the ones with a bit of lycra that stay up on their own, even if I use a garter belt. I'm just looking to see what the 'stretchiest' are. I'd like to give a nice, long, peel....looking for a bit of a bounce reaction from the stocking, if that makes sense.

I love them also, but that can get a bit spendy!

so I thought i would post my success! i used Berkshire 1550 thigh highs, one size up from my normal size, and applied a bit of Bikini Stickem to the bottom of the balls of my feet. BEST stocking peel ever. I got a really lovely, long stretch!
