Thread: Body Sparkle!

Hey lovely ladies and Gents,

Can anyone recommend a good product for body sparkles or shimmer, I hear diamond powder all the time but have no idea what it is or where to get it, plus iv heard glitter hair spray is good for skin sparkle?

Any recommendations would be amazing!

'Claire' does a great body spray , for quite cheap (Claire's Cosmetics, 2 for £5 or something) in several choice of colours

I never would have thought of them, I take it thats Claires accesories? Plus do you put it on before or after the costume? x

yes, Claire's accessories. I guess it depends on what you want to glitter... make sure you get it sprayed by someone else , and if possible away from other performer's costumes and clothes as well :s

Glitter hairspray does work well, and you can get it el cheapo in ASDA (in the fancy dress/party bit, not the cosmetics bit). If you are just wanting a bit of shimmer, try 'Lustre' by Lush. It's a bit pricey, but you don't need a lot and it smells lovely, too )

Make-up Forever make diamond powder, it's really good & you can use it on your eyes. Not cheap enough to throw all over your body though!

I usually just buy can's of spray body glitter from eBay, but if I'm whirling fire tassels (& do not desire to be a burlesque inferno) I use the "shimmy shimmy sparkle bar" from Lush, it's beautifully moisturising & super glittery.

I use the Diamond glitter form this company. It's super fine and beautiful! A little goes a long way!
