Red face Busk fronted or zip??

As a supplier of bespoke corsets, I've often wondered which way burlesque performers prefer to have their corset fasten at the front? We have just made some waspie's with zips, but would love to know what you guys think.

The thing with costumes is...the less chance of fumbling on stage then the better. It makes the overall performance much more fluid and slick.
Everyone has a corset ritual that is unique to them as to how they prefer to wear one/take one off, but from what I know from my own experiences and conversations with others, zips seem to be a preferred method of corset removal if possible. They are easier to get undone and there is definitely a lot less fumbling.
    Hope that helps

Frankie is right, zips are good as there's less fumbling which means the act can flow much smoother than having to faff around with a busk. On the other hand they can break easily and can sometimes get caught in fabric. I suppose it just depends on the person, what the act is and how you want to take it off! I know quite a few performers who use them with zips in x

I have both but I do prefer the zip... and I usually put in the zip upside down (zips upwards to take off) as it is more of a teaser!

thanks girls, like the idea of the upside down zip. Will have to offer this service more to our customers.
