    Default Burlesque shops in London

Come and visit us! What Katie Did is opening this Friday at 26 Portobello Green, 181 Portobello Road, London W10 5TZ (Fri, Sat and Sun). Our official opening is the following Friday 19th and 20th Oct but I think Saturday will be very busy so unless you're really desperate for a glass of white wine and a fairy cake I'd avoid if poss.

Fridays are the best day for vintage shopping in Portobello with 295 Portobello Road (just north of us) my little secret - they've got a tucked away lingerie/hat/interesting section at the back of the shop. If you're up for a bit of a treck then head over to Edgeware Road and Alfies Antique market where you'll find The Girl Can't Help It which surely has the best collection of vintage lingerie in London today (although everything is perfect so expect high prices).

Other hotspots include Soho - Paradiso in Old Compton Street, Agent Provocateur a couple of streets up and The Black Pearl in Kingly Court off Carnaby St. Then of course there's good ol' Camden with Fairygothmother (also in Spittlefields), Pink Fluffy and a few other goodies.

    Katie

Fairy Goth Mother in Camden and Spitalfields sell lots of lovely things including corsets, 1940's/50's style dresses and accessories!

Not specifically a London-shop, but I recommend Agent Provocateur for stockings!
