Thread: Sunburn Issue!

Silly me went to Crete a couple of weeks ago and no matter how much factor 30 I applied (I'm naturally blonde and pale as hell) I still managed to burn, even in the shade. Worst thing was that I didn't realise that the sun went from right to left on our beach, managed to stay out half a day and burn one side of both my legs!

When I got home my 'kindly' other half pointed this out to me and decided that along with my various tanned and white bits, that I'm turning into a block of neapoliton ice cream.:cry:

I did the same thing, managed to catch the sun all down one side of my body so my right shoulder and leg were red and the rest of me was white! It's fading now - I don't tan, I go red for a bit then back to white again!

I also don't ever catch the sun on my face, I freckle - my shoulders are about the only place on my body that go a nice colour then I have this ghostly pale face poking out over the top of them! lmao

I quite liked being likened to an ice cream, my arguement was that I've always been cold and lickable, even more so now!!!

I'm sticking to staying indoors next holiday.
