Beautiful powder compact wanted
Well as I'm a fickle thing I'm still pondering what my birthday prezzie from Rob will be. I know its not meant to work that way, but I also know he wants to make sure I get something I really want, so I'm happy to oblige with some shopping around. I may well still go for the sewing machine, but if not I want something I'd never normally treat myself to and I can keep, so I'm thinking a expensive/designer compact powder.
Specifics are of course that it has to be pretty (I've been surprised at how unpretty some of the 'designer' cosmetic brand ones are) and it has to take refills so I can keep and use it for the forseeable future.
Obviously my first thought was finally treating myself to a Besame one with a couple of refills while I'm there, but it seems you cannot get the light shade any more, and the new packaging doesn't sound like it will attract me as much
The one I'm drawn to the most so far is by Guerlain -
But, if anyone else has better suggestions I'd love to hear it
Also any tips on getting the orange ladies to be nice to me when I go in would be great. Am I right in thinking just make sure its a day I've dressed up nice so look like I may have money? At 17 I went to spend some birthday pennies on what was some treat make-up at the time (only Boots No7) and the orange lady was snotty to me, I've never quite got over it!WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Best tip for making the orange ladies be nice? Go in while it's quiet (not a Saturday).
They get bored like anyone else and all distractions are welcome.
Act like you're listening and don't let on you're browsing! If it slips out Let them know it's so Rob will come back and buy it when you're not there.www.ErisEveiller.com

I've been looking on Ebay and now think I have to go hide my purse before going to bed.
Don't want to risk sleep shopping
But they are pretty

When I was working at Benefit I was called a 'trolly dolly' by a blue rinser guarding her hubby when she was buying a lipstick off me. Made me smile so didn't want to correct her
Hussy got used a couple of times too......
And in my defence - I never fake tanned (although I was the only one)www.ErisEveiller.com
