Thread: stockings xxx x

Ladies, where do you buy your seamed stockings from? There used to be a couple of market stalls near me (well... Stourbridge and West Bromwich) that sold them but they've either stopped selling or closed down altogether!

I'm quite... petite, shall we say? So I have trouble getting stockings that aren't too long in the leg - I sometimes find myself having to roll the tops of my stockings down to stop the dreaded wrinkly ankles so if anyone has any suppliers that sell smaller sizes I'd be epically grateful.




I know What Katie Did is good, I've ordered from them before so I might just end up getting from them again, but it's always nice to have options! xx x

If you have a house of fraser, they sell them...around £7 i think! Argent Provocateur do them for £15...bit pricey! Or you could try ebay? not great for regular buying though! Pretty Polly do a vintage nylons range with seamed stockings orrrrrr figleaves.com have jonathon aston contrast seam stockings (nude with black or red seams) for £6 +p&P! hope that helps a bit!

I quite like using UK Tights, Hosiery online. Tights Stockings Pantyhose and Holdups all available at your finger tips. or My Tights - the online hosiery, tights, pantyhose and stockings store

They are both good websites and provide an extensive range and deliver quickly.

What a great tip. I've never seen such beautiful stockings. Oh dear I feel a spending spree coming on.

Thank you! I've just ordered some from UK tights! I used to wear skirts/dresses and stockings every day but since I've been on my holiday it's been really impractical. The only time I've been out lately has been to the gym so it's shorts and t-shirts which... isn't particularly glamorous as you can imagine.

My France holiday and the next Candy Box are giving my opportunities to dress up again! xx x

Definately try Stockings HQ- their customer services are second to none, they can advise and even if the stockings don't fit once you've tried them on they'll accept returns.

Ooh yes, I shall give that one a go too! Sounds like the Avon of the Stockings world.
