Vintage Hairstyling Book
Just thought I'd share with you all!!
Vintage Hairstyling: Retro Styles with Modern Techniques by Lauren Rennells :genius:
Best book ever - my boyfriend bought it for me as a suprise yesterday as he knows I love playing with my hair and was getting frustrated by my lack of ability to do anything else except victory rolls. He immediately regretted this descision as I was up til about 2 this morning reading it, and I have it in work with me now (sssh!!) and really wish I was at home in front of a mirror and had 20 heads so I could try out all the styles at once!! :cooler:
It goes through all the styles you could possibly want to know how to do, from about th 20's, 30's to the 50's and 60's almost and has pictures (for people like me who are very impatient!) and step by step instructions for every style, and has info on make up and equipment and accessories...
Okay, I'm rambling about now - but wow,I love this book! :read: heheheheWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I think he got it online - he mentioned the other day he'd ordered a suprise off the internet for me - I'd seen an advert for it on the Pin-Ups website but I suppose you could get it off amazon or something?
