Lipstick Staying Power
Okay a question for all you lovely peeps. i have a lovely lipstick from beauty without cruelty but as soon as i kiss my guy it comes off and he's left looking like one of the ugly sisters (beard and all) so please someone tell me is there a way to stop it coming off?
:help: also it needs to be vegan.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I use the lipstick from
B - Lip Sticks
apply
blot
reapply
lasts for hours if you use the lip barrier, too!

oooooooooooh I love 'B'!
everything smells nice too!
if all else fails use a stain instead, i use it at work because i cant b botered to put my lippy back on!
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Hey doll,i use MAC Russian red and i find its pretty stay proof, especially if I apply liner, colour in part of lips, then apply lipstick, then apply tech powder foundation over my lips, then reapply lippy and liner, you get that real pouty perfect look by doing that and it stands out more on stage/photos.
If i want stuff to stay, say i wanted the lipstick to not budge at all,i use She Laq by benefit, does the job pronto, just let it dry.
Expensive, but worth it,and then your not limited to using stay proof lipstick.lasts ages for an ickle vile.
Matt lipsticks are the best too.

I find good old fashioned lipcote is brilliant for keeping lipstick on, plus it's cheap...I don't know whether or not it's vegan though, I would imagine you could try emailing the company to find this out? xxx

i use lipcote and find its really great ! , they used to do a sparkly one too (can't find it for my make-up kit now tho) . The best technique is to : apply liner , apply lipstick with a brush , blot blot blot blot , apply more lipstick and blot more again , then apply lipcote . works everytime for me =)
