Shopping for shoes and a dress.
Ok, having sorted out my music and the magic side of the act and most of the movements, I went out today to suss what I will be wearing on top and underneath. The underneath, which is a secret, went extremely well indeed. And the shoes I will be wearing for training and the actual act are all figured out and just need trying on. Oh yes, AND the money needs to be found to pay for all of this!
My problem is with the "dress". As the dress will be coming of during the act, I was thinking of a wrap round style dress with those little steel "Dress Popper" type things to hold it in place or those little plastic doofers used in front opening bras, till I pull it to get it of...............Then I thought, hang on, the top needs to come off first followed by the bottom later in the act. This got me thinking of a "Twin Set" type thing but both wrap around with said poppers to keep things closed till I needed to remove the top/bottom. Having a mother-in-law who is a brilliant seamstress I wont have a problem getting anything made to fit etc, so don't really need to look in shops to buy. I am thinking of a Tulip style wrap round "skirt". Anyway, is there anyone out there willing to join me in an open discussion on what they reckon might be better than what I have described?
Makeup I have also figured out so that is no problem.

*ribbon tied top so you can work into the act, maybe a zipper that you can undo slowly. erm perhaps a tied up top like at the side or front.
*suggested by the other half.

I like the idea of a ribbon - it's much sexier than a popper stud to undo artily in your act?
