Mac
Its been a slow addiction but I've just noticed its taking over my makeup kit! It started with the cream eyeliner and brush, then the foundation, the powder and today the Ruby Woo lipstick - still I suppose theres worse things I could be buying right? Anyone else a MAC lover or can recommend anything?

Yes! Their shimmery loose powder! Silver dusk is my favourite to give the skin a luminescent glow. I prefer to use it instead of body glitter. Shoulders, cheeks, décolletage....yummm!

Ruby Woo is great; MAC Red, Russian Red, and Classic Dame are all great red lipsticks as well. These other reds are shinier and not as matte as Ruby Woo.

Here is another MAC addict. I started with eyeliner and Ruby Woo lipstick, too!
MAC is probably the only makeup brand that has really been worth buying every single time. I can recommend Zoom Lash mascara for everyone with short and thin lashes, and new Cult of Cherry lipgloss - the red shade is perfect!
I have been thinking about buying a foundation, too. Which one is best?

I'm going to start on the eyeshadows soon! Thanks for the mascara recommendation though

I have the studiofix fluid I think, its ok but I prefer something heavier so maybe someone else can suggest one?

Studio Tech will be your best bet for a thicker coverage. I like to mix my Studio Tech with Face & Body foundation for a flawless face.

Their gel eyeliner is really good too.

I have 3 lipsticks from MAC :
A brown one that the makeup artist used when I had a makeover there for the home boudoir shoot I had for my husband's weddnig present - with the liner to go with it.
A pinky one that I bought after the makeover I had on the morning of my wedding
(with a lipliner and a lilac shimmery lipgloss)
The red (Lady Bug) and liner (redd) I bought when I started getting into the retro look
I also bought Strobe Cream to go under my makeup because they used it for the boudoir shoot & again for the wedding
SO when I go somewhere special or have photos taken I use that too
I have a lot of Clinique stuff though...

I'm a MAC fan too. I have to go in there with a little bit of cash only, otherwise I'd buy half the shop (and have no money to eat-but hey I'd be well made up while I starved).
I don't use foundation, but I like their liquid concealer lots it sits nicely under powder, whereas I find other concealers to be really obvious.
I loved the Barbie special edition range they did a while back, really cutesy pink colours very high school girl in twinset.
I really fancy a MAC spend now, think I'll go drool at the website
