Transparent bras with pasties/tassles?
Do mine eyes decieve me?
On a few youtube videos i've noticed girls with tassles on but on closer shots only discover their boobies are held up!
Is this a common thing? Is it frowned upon?- i only ask because i've only really seen it on Pussy Cat Dolls and Burley wannabes of a go-go dancing type style.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I can't actually remember the proper term for these Ratty but the certain sectors of the american society think this makes the sight of 'naked' boobs ok.
There was a huge uproar at this year's Miss Exotic World because it was held at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas for the first time, where the management insisted on all burlesque performers on wearing these under boob bra-less bras (I wish I could remember what they were called) for their performances - because it's ok to see almost total naked bodies, virtually all the boob, thonged naked behinds - but heaven forbid you might be corrupted by dirty dirty under boobage!
Here's a report about the underboob scandal! (hoho)The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

How bizarre! Its not like that area of the boob is ugly or anything? Or is it to keep boobs anti-gravity?

Probably helps to keep the shape and push em up a bit ... although I'm currently making a cupless bra with two underwires and a shedload of beads and it doesn't make any discernible difference ...

If the breasts are larger it may help keep them together into a nice cleavage rather than to keep them 'up' (I'm not very busty so I don't know from experience, just guessing!)
It may also be aesthetic. I have some beaded ones like the ones being described - I affectionately call them 'skeleton bras' as they are essentially the hardware of the bra - the underwire and straps - but without any padding. I don't know if this is the proper term for them, but I do think they look very nice.
American views on decency are weird though - they had an embargo on 'side boob' for long enough on television!
