Very Dry skin
Does anyone know a great moisturiser that good for really dry skin on your face?, as my dry skin makes my makeup look simply awful on.

I always use Palmers Cocoa Butter, some people don't like to use it on their face but I think it does a really good job

Snaparoony!
Don't use it too close to your eyes as it's too rich and makes your eyes look baggy (or in my case, baggier).
I use it all the time on my son who has eczema and it really helps to keep his skin soft and breaks the itch-scratch-itch cycle. I started using it myself and find it very soothing when my face is mega dry.

Hi Cherry Lace,
Depending on your budget I would recommend Decleor Angelique Night Balm, which is around £48. I also love Botanics Night oil and Botanics Organic Face Super Balm, which is Boots own make and is only about £5. They also do a Beauty Boosters Radiance Beatuy Balm for under your make up, which is a cheaper alternative to Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and will give your skin a boost.
My friends swear by the Eve Lom range, which is good but can be pricey.
No doubt the other girls will have some great tips for you but I hope that gives you some ideas.
Love GiGi

I have quite dry skin on my forehead especially and tried all kinds of moisturizers, but then I changed my cleansing routine and that really helped. I don't use water on my face any more (other than a good, natural exfoliator once or twice a week. Angels on Bare Skin by Lush is a goody) I use Garnier's Clean Sensitive Anti Tightness Cleansing Milk, which has really really helped. It seems a bit odd at first not using water but it might work for you.

I went through a period when my skin was very dry and sensitive and discovered that Dermol medicated emollient lotion was really good without being overly greasy. Plus you can use it for almost anything moisturising or as a cleanser/shower cream.

Another vote for palmer's. I particularly like the khaki coloured one (there is a brighter green one i don't mean). It's almost like a very mild chemical exfoliator, if you slop on a load then wait a minute or two and rub your face all the dead skin comes away. Then pop on some original palmers or any other choice of mild moisturiser
