A good liquid eyeliner?
Hi All,
I've been using the same eyeliner now for a good couple of years but I've noticed its become very thin and is not very fluent in application.
Has anyone got any reccomendations for a good strong liquid eyeliner, that are purse-friendly?
Thanks

I still love cheap old Rimmel's liquid eyeliner - the one with the long brush not the felt-tip one. It doesn't go flakey, smudgey or thin and is really easy to remove.

I have to agree, I've nearly always used Rimmel and found it stays put and doesn't flake. I did try out Collection 2000's liquid eyeliner and to be honest it as awful, flaked like nobodies business. I'm currently trying out the No 7 black liner pen, its ok but the application is not thick enough. I have heard that the Mac one is very good, I think I will try that one next, but I usually end up going back to good old Rimmel.

Rimmel tends to make my eyes sore, so I use Ruby and Millie's i-writer in black. It's like a pen with a brush at the end. It goes on beautifully.
If you spend over a certain amount in Boots atm you get a £5 off voucher for Ruby and Millie or No7. The i-writer is £10 normally!

I use the Body Shop liquid eyeliner and love it because the brush is quite thin so I can build up easily, doesn't flake either although, from reading this I am definitely trying Rimmel when it runs out!

A few years ago-(in the days when I was working and could afford such decadent luxuries!) I bought a limited edition Guerlin eyeliner kit with six different eyeshadows, brushes and a little bowl for water-you wet the brush and use the different shadows as eyeliners.
Its amazingly lovely, but if you invested in a good brush you could acheive the same effect. For example a slant edged brush used wet or dry can create a lovely line  and you could make the line whatever colour you wanted....
