    Default hmm...

You should check out Fairy Dust Shoes.
They custom make shoes with sequins, or if you've got a bit of money to spend, with crystals. I got a pair of beautiful vintage Judy Garland replica ruby slippers custom made, and it ended up only costing something like £50 including shipping, and they are absolutely gorgeous.
You can either order some from them or send your own shoes to be sequinned.

I do that with my rhinestoned shoes all the time! If you make them yourself it's not too bad, because you can always get spares and replace the stones you knock off ...

A hot glue gun is good attaching fabric trim to shoes but for things with a smooth surface Evostick works better.

    Don't do what I did!

In my eagerness to try on my leopard skin shoes i had glued diamonte buttons to
i ended up with my shoes glued to my stockingsops:

    And me!

I found PVA doesn't provide a strong enough bond to smooth services, but extra strong glue (like No More Nails) dries white rather than clear. I found hot fix glue on shoes was pathetic, too.

I'm still trying to find the perfect glue for shoes and rhinestones. I've heard great stuff about some of the 'proper' gem adhesives... I'll look into it.
