Put your hair mask/intensive conditioner onto dry hair before you wash it, cover in cling film for 10 mins and then shampoo and condition as normal... Loreal Elvive anti breakage for dry/damaged hair (comes in a big yellow pot) is a good one, and the shampoo and conditioner are fab too! They also always seem to be on offer in one shop or another too, always a bonus! Also, always use a heat protecter if you blow dry/curl/straighten. I don't bleach my hair, but its really fine and very brittle from years of colouring and straightening (I could snap hair in half at one point. Nice.) - and just doing the mask once a week and always putting on protector has made a massive difference! I also invested in a Denman bristle brush, pricey but worth it as it doesn't rip delicate hair to shreds
Hope that helps! x x x

I agree with Miss Wonderland I don't have bleached hair but till recently my hair was very long with a tendency to get split ends. I used L'Oreal anti breakage and it made my hair so so soft. I also recommend Denman brushes - they are absolutely fantastic and not a completely ridiculous price either.

I had the same problem from too much bleach.
If your hair is light enough to get away with not using bleach use the lightest shade of nice and easy permant colour in light summer blonde it's still has lightener in it but doesn't wreck your hair like bleach and its enough to make my light ginger hair go blonde. Also when u do your roots never get tempted to go over your whole head and if your hairdresser does this tell him off.
The best and cheapest conditioner for this problem are the little tubes that come in packets of hair dye.My boyfriend dyes his hair so I get to use all the ones he discards but ive also seen them in superdrug in the hair dye section for 99p.
I found a long term solution and that is semi permanant colour. I dyed my hair auburn and it is so so so shiney now, I was shocked at how healthey it looks.

Although it's a bit unpleasant, putting loads of conditioner on and then sleeping in it! (or for a more practical solution do it during the day if you have a day when you don't have to go out!) xxx

Eufora Fortifi Strengthening Spray - Eufora Shampoo & Conditioner
I used to have a bleach addiction too, platinum baby. This was the only thing that helped my hair. Warning is that these protein products actually make the hair feel drier so you do not get the nice cozy lotiony feel of oil based conditioners, but it will strengthen your hair and make it shine. I usually go for style over substance but in this instance substance actually is the winner.

Ooh, I agree with liberty flame, those little gold tubes of conditioner that you get in Nice n Easy hair colour are great. Tesco sell them individually.
Failing that I'm a big fan of Lush Coolaulin but it's very thin, like milk so you have to slap loads on and leave it on for about 10 mins if you want deep, deep conditioning. Smells divine though, my hair smells of coconut and cream for the whole day, mmmmmmmmm!

once a week i use retread by lush and it really does help to soften my coloured hair and make it more mangeable. my hairdresser persuaded me to get tigi stuff when i got bits of my hair bleached so i could put red in, and tbh yes it smells nice but i don't think it's as great as everyone makes out.
