Thread: Top Five Highstreet Burlesque Items £25 and under !

So moneys abit tight this month and i needed my lingerie buying fix. I was very surprised to look on La-Senza's website and find some very nice Burlesque items and all £25 and under so i thought i would share with you lovely people.

La Senza has recently added a couple of Burlesque inspired items. Its Free Delivery over £35 free classy little gift box and you can order online! and la-senza is in almost every uk shopping center NICE ONE!

So Heres My Top 5 Favorite! (because im geeky like that)

I was a bit surprised when I clicked on the 'burlesque' link on the La Senza website - it seems that what they're classing as burlesque style isn't really, but there are other things on the site that should be there instead! I'm a little confused to tell the truth. Maybe they are too ...

There's a stick on sequinned bra on there too somewhere, which would be ideal for an act if you didn't want to use pasties!

I totally know what you mean, i think its just a case of sorting through the rubbish and finding the odd gem. yeah there idea of burlesque is very waterd down but hey i bet they didnt want to give anyone a shock haha. sometimes i just wish these shops were more out there and bigger and bolder it would be soo cool. burlesque is getting bigger and bigger and hopefully the highstreet shops will catch on :-)

PEACOCKS!!! They don't have loads but what they do have to really nice, sets for under £10!!!! Our troupe got a last minute booking recently and we wanted to debut a new act but we hadn't bought the underwear and funds being somewhat lacking we had a look in Peacocks!!

New Look has some nice bits and pieces too!

(the websites are rubbish though, you need the actual shop)

For us larger busted ladies, try Marks & Spencer (I got a gorgeous cream and black satin polka dot set last week).

Also H&M are doing beautiful little cocktail hats on a comb with a veil for only £8

yes i have been on the Peacocks website and found some pretty decent stuff for the price. sounds like a nightmare i hate shopping in a panic.

new look has some gorgus stuff really orignal bras aswell but alas not a good website so no link action for new look.

another good shop with a crap website. this is a good one for us wounderful full figured girls (16+) Evans have some lovely stuff.

also matalan has some great underwear sets for cheap but no link action for them case of the bad webite
