Default What to do with this fabric?

Ok, i have some faux crocodile skin fabric, a piece about 60" wide and about 30" deep (quite small i know)
So, any suggestions of what pretty clothes i can make out of it?
About the largest object it would be possible to make is a mini-dress (I am quite little) but as i dont really want a crododile skin mii-dress, does anyone have any better sugggestions?

    Mock crock mini skirt.

Embellesh a basque (It'll be unique - cover individual panels, perhaps?), on that note, use it to embellish, rather than make something outright?

    Fasinators/Handbags/accessories.

Or, if you're a real dab hand with your machine (I am not), howabout an underbust?

You sir, have some fabulous ideas. I suppose i really do need a new underbust, and i am sure it should be possible to make one the moment i can afford the boning.

An underbust corset with matching pasties?? Try Vena Cava Designs for a pattern/busk/boning (they used to give a 10% voucher off components with patterns, not sure if they still do that as I haven't bought any new pattern for some time) - the boning doesn't work out too much and the busk would only be about 10" - I recon the whole lot including pattern would be under £15.00

Hi! Why not try a Bettie Page -style bikini? She used to make her own and they looked great!

If you're after something a wee bit different, how about using it to make a pair of spats? :eyebrows:

Keep us posted on the outcome of this - and best of luck with your project whatever you decide! :twothumbs:

Why not a smart pencil skirt? I saw a crocodile one by Giles Deacon last season that looked fabulous!

Use it for details. Find another fabric that goes with it and then everything is posible. Or why not sheer up an old pair of shoes. I still think that a waspie would be great.
