    Default Agent Provocateur Stockings

Anybody willing to share their experiences of Agent Provocateur stockings? I quite fancy a pair and the contrast seams are nice and bold, but I'm wondering what sort of size they are as I'm very petite and so stockings can tend to sag and be over-long on me!

    Hello!
I'm 5ft 2", a size 10/12 and 29 inch inside leg with size 2 feet and they are usually too long on the leg, too big in the foot and too wide at the top for me. What Katie Did stockings in extra small are a great length for shorter people, if you can get the colour combo you're after.

Cheers my dear! That's what I was afraid of, I'm 5' so I guess I'll be able to pull them up to my armpits!

Maybe you need to check out my wife's website Vintage Stockings, Vintage Girdles and Lingerie - Sleek 'n Chic - she sells a lot of vintage stockings, plenty of which are in the smaller sizes. The good news is that I've persuaded her to offer MoBers 10% discount - you just need to quote RETRO in the coupon on checkout.

A P's contrast seamed stockings and any of WKD's that say they are french made are both from the same manufacturer, Cervin. AP tend to sell them at a higher price than elsewhere but they also have them in colours others don't do.
Cervin tend to make smaller than the other pure nylon stockings people, so would probably be a good match for you.

AP stockings come in different sizes, you should go into one of the stores - the staff are really friendly xxx

i'm 5ft and their smallest size stocking (they come in three sizes) is fine. however, i do not like their contrast nylons, they are far too slippy and never stay straight but all my hold ups and fishnets are from there as they are very good quality.

I actually don't really have anything good to say about AP stockings... I have a pair that might not have any rips but after wearing them 2 times they stretched out (and they shouldn't be stretchy...so I'm not even sure how that is possible) and are like 3 sizes too big... not good and they are expensive!
I prefer What Katie Did stockings, they are really good, at least for me!

I also have several friends complaining about the AP stockings...

I agree with katiewhite, I'm pretty sure AP re-brand Cervin. It certainly looks like them as Cervin have quite a distinctive welt.
I've always found Cervin to run short & small - most French brands do for some reason. But perhaps they don't at the smaller end of the scale and then expand much on the bigger sizes.
