Default Rollers & Hair Dryer - any recommendations?

    Hello Ladies!

I am looking to invest in some hair rollers and hood dryer. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have taken a look at the Argos catalogue and a set of Carmen rollers are available for around £29??? Also, I have no idea where to start regarding hood dryers. Do I go for the inflatable or the proper hood?

Any advice or tips greatly received!

    Hi Amba,

I personally despise rollers as I always mess it up. But I do love Nicky Clarke Flexi-Stylers. I got some a couple of weeks ago and they work wonders with my thick hair.

Buy Nicky Clarke Professional Flexi-Stylers. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

Hood dryer wise, have you tried e-bay??

    Hope this helps,
    Anastasia x

I love the Babylis heated rollers, they take bit of getting used to but if you can use heated rollers you'll like these. I have the mutlicoloured ones and tend to use the smallers ones on top as i have very thick hair so the curl drops a bit and it evens out nicely.

Bendy rollers are quite easy to use as well, the nice thing about them if you don't have to be really neat and they still give a nice curl. You can get them from your local Sallys beauty supplies.

A small spray of setting lotion or curl booster should help the curl stay in longer. And make sure you let the hair fully cool down before you take them out of you risk 'upsetting' the hair bonds.

I love Babyliss rollers also, and if I twist my hair before winding it round the roller my hair comes out even curlier and seems to last longer.
