The deal is I'm going to fancy dress party on Saturday as Sally Bowles from Cabaret... And need some ideas how it decet cheaply.

And ideas? You ladies seem to be the masters of these things.

Simple black pants/shorts/hotpants and vest over fishnet tight's ought to do it. The image is identifiable largely due to the bowler hat, hair and make-up.

Buy the wig and a cheap bowler and your sorted.

Failing that, carry a wooden cafe chair with you and sit on it backward whenever you get the chance

The Real Cabaret was very interesting last night. I watched the film too for the first time in many years.


Did you remember the green nailvarnish? As those green fingernails were pretty heavily featured.

really enjoyed the programme last night...loved the great b + w footage used!!! excellent way to spend an evening.

More by luck than actual rememberance I did actually have green nail varnish on.
