Thread: Body stocking and Swarzkovski crystals

Hello all,

Does anyone know where i can buy a body stocking kinda like the one Shakira uses in her video clip for She wolf (when she's doing her cage routine)?

Also, what the general going rate for a gram of swarzkowski crystals? Wow, how dodgy does that sound :P. Are there any other reputable brands of crystals or diamante's that you can recommend?

Thank you for the help. I am in the process of designing a costume and i want to know whether it would be feasible money wise as im running a bit of a tight ship atm :'(.

Use of bodystockings seems to have been a re-occurring question since 2007. I'm starting to wonder if we ought to make it an FAQ...

You can buy reasonably priced nude body stockings from an online company called dancedirect.com, i use them often for dance tights/leotards etc and theyre very reliable and quick to mail too (when there isnt a strike going on anyhow)!

Teeheehee, Miss Van Dal, your post made me giggle madly in the middle of a group assignment at uni. People now think i'm quite insane as opposed to the regular amount of insane :P.

Hi old thread I know but tonight I am at war with the bodystocking. I'm okay with the crotchless problem, I'll sew them up but what do you do about the fact 'nude' actually always means 'tan'. I'm really pale and have a spaghetti strap bodystocking but it is just so obvious where the edges are along the back and neckline.

I was planning on wearing it under a black lace bodystocking with lots of flowers attached that I've just ripped because the body part is too short and doesn't complete follow the shape of my body so I look like a barrel. And don't get me started whinging about the seam showing. Do I just give up and go back to lingerie?

has a crotch and everything - all i did was google full body leotard, expensive but its lasted so far ( fingers crossed)

i get all my swarovski crystals from ebay, i just searched swarovski crystal hot fi-they can be ironed on and are surprisingly cheap!x

I've had the opposite problem to finding one too tan, "nude" always seems to be too pale or too pink, I'm more of a yellow tone...not quite Simpsons coloured but enough for it too look pretty weird!
