Hello ladies (and gents perhaps )

I just bought something pretty interesting off the internet and no its not as dodgy as it sounds :P. I love my high heels but im one of those really abusive shoe owners who somehow ends up scuffing her pretty high heels by walking through grating, cobblestone streets and mud. A week ago i watched a clip on msnnews about a lady who invented little condoms for highheels.

These little plastic tubes go over the heel of the shoe and when hairdryed shrink to the heel. They prevent the heels from scuffing due to wear and tear and are easy to cut to the size of the heel. They dont have the wineglass base like most heel protectors do (a look im personally not a fan of) and come in clear and black.

There are 4 pairs in a pack and are about $AU 9 dollars plus 2 dollars shipping internationally. I just got mine in the mail and have them on my shoes for this saturday night when i FINALLY get to wear my newest high heels from pinupgirl clothing.

They're not just for kids - I've got heeleys and lots of bruises to match!

Haha. That was the first thing that came up when i googled Heelys! I wish i was game enough to have ANYTHING with wheels on it. I still don't know how to ride a bicycle properly. Someone should do a burly routine on Heeleys! How crazy would that be . I vote for lovely ms Devyne to start us off .

Ha ha I also own heelies they are great fun once you get the hang of them. I don't tend to scratch the heels of my shoes though. Could be something to do with the fact that I don't walk very far in them.

i have to have 'performance shoes' and going out shoes cos i just knacker any pair of shoes i wear out anywhere!
i can guarantee if i wore a pair of performance shoes out just once they'd never be able to go on stage again - im just SOOOO accident prone!
