    OCTOBER 2nd 2010
House of Burlesque presents 'Ministry of Burlesque -Victorian Values'
    The Kings Theatre Portsmouth

Join us for an evening for frisky satire full of puns, bums, past and current buns in this unique series of classical burlesques (spectacular, satirical musical-comedies) which send up the eccentric morals, ethics and values of the British Empire - then and now.

Frightfully witty, bawdy, edgy and terrifically astute, Victorian Values is a hilarious, dark, sexy and daft exploration of the 19th century where we ask one simple question: Have we lost our Victorian Values? Or, have we simply misplaced them in time?

    Starring...

KITTIE KLAW - The infamous founder of the Ministry of Burlesque.
One of the longest standing performers on the circuit and hailed as the UK queen of burlesque by industry and audiences alike. We bow down....

JIM DEVEREAUX - The finest elvis impersonator around. He is also a victorian cad, bounder and part time gentlemen (when it suits him) and can often be seen prowling piccadilly...

TOFF AND TAILS - an audacious duo, ‘Toff & Tales’. Their assortment of acts combine Kittie’s vivacious burlesque style with Jim’s phenomenal vocal and character talents. They are an uproarious medley of variety and Brit Wit. See the pippin pair at their finest in 'Victorian Values'

DANI CALIFORNIA - A glittering starlet: a a dreamlike, decadent enchantress who teases and captivates all who behold her.

Hosted by (in the guise of a victorian scoundrel. not much has changed.. i know) JOE BLACK - The vaudevillian villain of Victorian villainy

    MORE ACTS TBA
