ODDBALL BURLESQUE - "more fruitcake than cheesecake" is the newest burlesque show to hit Nottingham. With a kooky mix of some of the funniest and weirdest performers on the UK circuit, we at Oddball Burlesque hope to shine a light on all that is out of leftfield in Burlesque and Cabaret.
Fed up of feather fans? Bored by balloon pops? Tired of the tease? At Oddball Burlesque we love feathers, glitter and rhinestones but we love them even more when they are attached to some of the wackiest, silliest and most fun performers ever to have twirled a tassle.
And now, we're excited to announce the lineup for ODDBALL BURLESQUE - "more fruitcake than cheesecake" - make sure YOU'RE at The Central (310 Huntingdon Street, Nottingham) on Friday 18th Feb 2011 (and at £5 a ticket and £4 NUS and City Council Staff, you have no excuse not to be!) to see our fabulous perfomers at work!

Starring:

BRITISH HEART
Playfully jarring together the sensuality of striptease, the zany comic of old cabaret and the academic gender researcher, British Heart is an outre tour de force of male burlesque.
And he looks adorable in a big old fuzzy mouse costume!

MARNIE SCARLET The Scarlet Dive, Marnie brings Burlesque with a Twist with her strange but beautiful looks and oddball approach to the genre. Bizarre and captivating, she will steal your heart (and possibly make it into a hat or something).

WARREN PEACE Saucy Berlin style cabaret from stocking-and-suspender clad cabaret funny-fella. He's a rude one! Don't say you weren't warned!

DITZY DIAMOND The Squirrel Girl, herself. Curvaceous, outrageous, the blonde who puts the bounce in Birmingham's burlesque scene. Ditzy Diamond is a performer not to miss!

GLORIAN GRAY Flame Haired, warm hearted purveyor of Quirky Comedy Burlesque and strange acts that go bump in the night. Have you ever seen a girl do a striptease on a trampoline? Come to this show and all will be revealed.

ELLE AMOUR Winner of Delicious Burlesque 2010's best newcomer competition, Elle combines the grace of a dancer with the humour of a comedienne. Her perfectly pitched acts make Cheesecake a laugh a minute!

CANDY DeMURE DeMure by name, demure by nature? I should bloody well hope not! This gorgeous, homegrown gal will tickle your fancy and your funny bone (no, not that one!).

MAMA JENUFA Blossoming Buxom Burlesquer based in Bucks. Mama finally answers the question that has been on the tip of all of our tongues: "What if Pat Butcher performed Burlesque?". 'What if?' indeed. Come to ODDBALL BURLESQUE to find out!

EMERALD ACE
Rubber-faced, head-in-the-clouds performer. The redheaded (metaphorically if not always literally) stepchild of burlesque.
